Doosan's lift truck history
In the beginning the domestic forklift marketplace in Korea was an open import enterprise. Korea Machinery Co. Ltd. begun in 1960, to import fully assembled lift trucks as part of a domestic machinery expansion venture. Sales of these goods were primarily targeted to state-run corporations, large scale businesses, and the armed forces. This eventually led to a merger with Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd. In 1976, the Forklift Division commenced trade operations throughout Korea to service and sell this heavy equipment. By 1978, a lift truck production plant was successfully completed. Continuous technical education became the new focus for enhancing quality and product development.
The overall efficiency of the propane lift truck is remarkable. In view of the fact that the propane cylinders could be changed in hardly any time, the machinery could be back on the job reasonably fast in view of the fact that it experiences hardly any downtime. It is not like the electric lift truck where extra batteries have to be purchased to be used while the original battery could take up to 8 hours of cooling time plus 8 hours of charging time depending on the model.
Safety
For the reason that the propane forklift has a sealed fuel system, it is much safer to work than the different kinds of forklifts presented. The propane fuel cylinders themselves adhere to strict national code specialization and are sealed to guarantee optimum safety. Propane gas even functions with less energy compared to CNG gas, hence, if any accident occurs, there is a system where the fuel is shut off. This greatly lowers the possible danger and destruction which could occur. Refilling options are also beneficial for the operator. If they will rather refuel elsewhere, the cylinders could be transported to a refilling centre. If the business chooses, the refilling can be accomplished on site instead.
